- 1 cup (120g) whole milk, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
For the lemon glaze:
- 1 cup (200g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9x5-inch (23x13cm) loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the lemon zest and juice.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Beat just until combined.
