Ndidi set to step into kante role
I think there may be some confusion here!
Wilfred Ndidi is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Leicester City and the Nigeria national team. While he is an excellent player in his own right, I'm not aware of any plans for him to step into N'Golo Kanté's role.
N'Golo Kanté is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Chelsea and the France national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, known for his tireless work rate, exceptional tackling, and ability to win the ball back.
While Ndidi is also a skilled defensive midfielder, he has a different playing style and profile compared to Kanté. Ndidi is more of a ball-playing midfielder who excels at distributing the ball from deep, whereas Kanté is more of a destroyer who excels at winning the ball back and breaking up opposition attacks.
So, while Ndidi is an excellent player, I don't think he is being groomed to replace Kanté in his role.
