Asante Oshoala, not Moses Oshoala, was nominated for the 2017 CAF Award.

Asisat Oshoala is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Barcelona Femení and the Nigeria women's national team. She was indeed nominated for the 2017 CAF Women's Player of the Year award, but unfortunately did not win.
