March 9 Poll: Tinubu Urges Lagos APC Members to Deliver Votes

Ahead of the March 9 governorship and state assembly elections in Lagos State, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has urged party members in the state to deliver votes for the party's candidates.

Tinubu, who is a former Governor of Lagos State, made the call during a meeting with APC stakeholders in the state on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by his media office, Tinubu urged the party members to work together to ensure the success of the party's candidates in the elections.

He said, "I urge all APC members in Lagos State to come out en masse and vote for our candidates. We have worked hard to build a strong party and we must not let our efforts go to waste.

"I want to assure you that our candidates are capable and committed to delivering good governance to the people of Lagos State. They have the vision and the capacity to take the state to greater heights.

"So, I urge you all to come out and vote for them. Let us show the world that we are a united and strong party. Let us show that we are committed to the progress and development of our state."

Tinubu also commended the party's candidates for their hard work and dedication to the party's cause.

He said, "I want to commend our candidates for their hard work and dedication to the party's cause. They have worked tirelessly to build the party and to promote its ideals.

"I urge them to continue to work hard and to remain committed to the party's cause. I have no doubt that they will make us proud and that they will deliver good governance to the people of Lagos State."

The APC is fielding candidates for the governorship and state assembly elections in Lagos State, with the party's candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, vying for the governorship seat.

The elections are scheduled to hold on March 9, 2019.
