Manchester United have signed a new defender!

According to reports, Manchester United have signed Lisandro Martinez, a 24-year-old Argentine defender, from Ajax for a reported fee of around £46.7 million.

Martinez is a left-footed center-back who has impressed in the Eredivisie and Champions League with Ajax. He has also earned 16 caps for Argentina and has been a regular starter for the national team.

The signing is seen as a major coup for Manchester United, who have been looking to strengthen their defense for some time. Martinez's arrival is expected to provide competition for the likes of Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and Eric Bailly.
