Lupita nyongo narrates encounter harvey weinstein #
Lupita Nyong'o has spoken publicly about her encounter with Harvey Weinstein, which she described as a traumatic experience. Here is her account, as narrated by her:
"I remember Harvey offering to set up a meeting with a big producer, and I was so excited. I had never met a producer before, and I was eager to learn more about the industry. But when we met, Harvey was not interested in talking about the project. Instead, he started making inappropriate comments about my body, and then he asked me to meet him in his hotel room.
"I was so uncomfortable, but I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to offend him, and I didn't want to be rude. So I went to his hotel room, and he asked me to give him a massage. I was so scared, but I didn't know how to say no. I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.
"When I got out of there, I was shaking. I was so upset, and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to tell anyone about what had happened, because I was afraid of being judged or blamed. But as time went on, I realized that I had to speak out. I had to tell my story, and I had to help other women who had been through similar experiences.
"I'm not going to lie, it was hard to do. It was hard to relive that experience, and it was hard to talk about it. But I knew that I had to do it, because I knew that it would help other women. And it has. I've heard from so many women who have been inspired by my story, and who have felt empowered to speak out about their own experiences.
"I'm not going to let Harvey Weinstein or anyone else silence me. I'm going to keep speaking out, and I'm going to keep fighting for justice. And I hope that my story will inspire other women to do the same."
