Liverpool new stadium capacity
The new stadium of Liverpool Football Club, Anfield Road Stadium, is currently under construction and is expected to have a capacity of approximately 61,000 seats. The stadium is being built on the site of the existing Anfield Stadium, which has a current capacity of around 54,000 seats.
The new stadium is expected to be completed in time for the 2023-2024 season and will feature a number of state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- A larger and more modern main stand, with improved seating and amenities for fans
- A new upper tier on the Anfield Road side of the stadium, increasing the overall capacity
- Improved concourses and facilities for fans, including more food and drink options and improved toilet facilities
- Enhanced safety and security features, including improved crowd control and emergency evacuation procedures
- A new and improved media centre, with improved facilities for journalists and broadcasters
The new stadium is expected to be a major improvement on the existing Anfield Stadium, and will provide a better and more comfortable experience for fans attending matches.
