Pass Rate: The overall pass rate for the 2022 WASSCE is 64.74%, which is a slight increase from the 63.98% recorded in 2021.

  2. Ogun State - 69.45%
  3. Oyo State - 68.45%
  4. Ekiti State - 67.45%
  5. Osun State - 66.95%

Top Performing Schools: The top five schools with the highest pass rates are:

  1. Chrisland School, Lagos - 93.33%
  2. Kings College, Lagos - 92.31%
  3. Federal Government College, Lagos - 91.67%
  4. Queens College, Lagos - 90.91%
  5. Igbinedion Education Centre, Benin City - 90.91%

Performance by Subject: The performance of candidates in various subjects is as follows:

Candidates' Performance: A total of 1,562,674 candidates registered for the 2022 WASSCE, and 1,544,944 of them sat for the examination. The results of 17,730 candidates were withheld due to various reasons, including cases of examination malpractice.

Next Steps: Candidates who have passed the examination can proceed to apply to tertiary institutions in Nigeria and other West African countries. The results will also be used for placement into various institutions.
