Latest Update (March 2023):
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it will no longer accept regularization of results for candidates who missed the deadline for the 2022 UTME registration. This means that candidates who missed the deadline will not be able to regularize their results.

- January 2023: JAMB announced that it would allow candidates who missed the deadline for the 2022 UTME registration to regularize their results. The regularization process was to be done online through the JAMB website.
- December 2022: JAMB announced that it would not extend the deadline for the 2022 UTME registration, which had expired on November 26, 2022. However, the board later announced that it would allow candidates who missed the deadline to regularize their results.
What is JAMB Regularization?:
JAMB regularization is a process that allows candidates who missed the deadline for the UTME registration to regularize their results. This means that candidates who did not register for the UTME on time can still participate in the admission process by regularizing their results.
How to Regularize JAMB Results:
To regularize your JAMB results, you will need to follow these steps:
- Log on to the JAMB website and click on the "Regularization" tab.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and other required details.
- Pay the regularization fee, which is currently N2,500.
- Upload your O'Level results and other required documents.
- Submit your application and wait for JAMB to process your regularization request.
Important Notes:
- The regularization process is only available for candidates who missed the deadline for the 2022 UTME registration.
- Candidates who regularize their results will still need to participate in the admission process and meet the admission requirements of their chosen institutions.
- JAMB regularization is not the same as the regularization of results for candidates who were unable to participate in the UTME due to circumstances beyond their control.
