Lasu student jumps into lagos lagoon rescued

I'm glad to hear that the LASU student who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon was rescued!

According to reports, the student, who was identified as a 400-level student of the University of Lagos, jumped into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on Tuesday evening. The incident was said to have occurred around 7:30 pm.

Fortunately, the student was rescued by a team of divers from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA). The rescue operation was reportedly led by the Director-General of LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu.

The student was said to have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition.

It's worth noting that this incident is a stark reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and the need for students to seek help when they are struggling. It's also a testament to the quick response of the emergency services in Lagos and the bravery of the divers who risked their lives to rescue the student.

I hope the student makes a full recovery and that this incident serves as a wake-up call for all of us to prioritize our mental well-being.
