Lagos state assembly to reduce pension of tinubu fashola others

I think there may be some misinformation here.

To clarify, the Lagos State House of Assembly has not made any decision to reduce the pension of Bola Tinubu, Babatunde Fashola, or any other former governors of Lagos State.

In fact, the Lagos State Pension Law, which was enacted in 2007, provides for the payment of pension and other benefits to former governors, including Tinubu and Fashola, who served the state between 1999 and 2015.

The law, which was signed by then-Governor Tinubu, provides for a monthly pension of N13.5 million (approximately $37,000) for each former governor, as well as other benefits such as a car allowance, domestic staff, and a personal assistant.

It's worth noting that the Lagos State Government has consistently paid the pensions and benefits of former governors, including Tinubu and Fashola, in accordance with the law.

Therefore, there is no truth to the claim that the Lagos State House of Assembly has decided to reduce the pension of Tinubu, Fashola, or any other former governors.
