"We want to ensure that all taxi cab operators in Lagos have a level playing field to operate from. We will not tolerate any form of unfair competition or exploitation of passengers. Our goal is to provide a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation system for all Lagosians," Dr. Oladeinde said.

The LTCOA President, Mr. Olumide Oworu, said that the mobile app is designed to promote transparency and accountability among taxi cab operators. He explained that the app will allow passengers to track their rides in real-time, rate their drivers, and report any issues or complaints.

"With the Lagos Taxi app, we want to ensure that passengers have a seamless and enjoyable experience. We want to promote transparency and accountability among our members, and we are committed to working with the government to achieve this goal," Mr. Oworu said.
