Lagos government not obliged to employ n power beneficiaries

I think there may be some misinformation here.

The Lagos State Government has indeed partnered with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to implement the National Power Sector Reform Programme (N-POWER) in the state. The N-POWER programme is a federal government initiative aimed at providing job opportunities for unemployed graduates and non-graduates in the power sector.

As part of the partnership, the Lagos State Government has committed to employing some of the N-POWER beneficiaries in various government agencies and parastatals. However, it's important to note that the employment of N-POWER beneficiaries is not automatic or guaranteed.

The Lagos State Government has the discretion to decide which N-POWER beneficiaries to employ, and the selection process is usually based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, and performance during the training program.

In other words, the Lagos State Government is not obliged to employ all N-POWER beneficiaries, but rather, they have the flexibility to choose the most suitable candidates for available positions in their agencies and parastatals.

It's also worth noting that the N-POWER programme is a federal government initiative, and the employment of beneficiaries is not limited to the Lagos State Government alone. Beneficiaries can be employed by any organization, including private companies, that is willing to hire them.

I hope this clears up any confusion.
