American Grammy award-winning singer, Lady Gaga has issued a public apology to fans in the wake of the sexual abuse allegations currently rocking R. Kelly.
The “A Star Is Born” actress who has a song, “Do What U Want (With My Body)” with Kelly, in a statement, apologised to her fans for having a collaboration with the singer.
She also assured that their collaboration will be removed from iTunes and other streaming platforms.
Gaga who herself was abused at the age of 19 made the announcement in a post on Twitter.
Her statement, which is coming in the wake of the recent Lifetime documentary series, “Surviving R. Kelly” that chronicles allegations of abuse, predatory behaviour, and paedophilia against Kelly, joins other celebrities like Keke Palmer, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Common to speak out against Kelly.
