Keke okada back on lagos roads one month after ban
I think there may be some misinformation here.
To clarify, Keke Napep (also known as tricycles or okadas) were not banned from Lagos roads one month ago. In fact, the Lagos State Government has been implementing various measures to regulate the operations of commercial motorcycles and tricycles in the state, including the introduction of a new law in 2020 that prohibits the operation of commercial motorcycles in six local government areas of the state.
The law, which was enacted to reduce crime and improve road safety, prohibits the operation of commercial motorcycles in the following local government areas: Apapa, Surulere, Eti-Osa, Lagos Mainland, Ikeja, and Shomolu.
While it is true that some commercial motorcycles and tricycles may still be operating on Lagos roads, this is not a recent development, and it is not a result of a one-month-old ban.
It's important to note that the Lagos State Government has been working to improve road safety and reduce traffic congestion in the state, and these efforts may involve the regulation or restriction of certain types of vehicles or modes of transportation.
