Is there a new season of power
The popular Starz series "Power" ended its six-season run in February 2020. The final episode, titled "When You Hit Me", concluded the story of James "Ghost" St. Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick) and his associates.
There won't be a new season of "Power" in the classical sense, as the show has concluded its run. However, Starz has announced a spin-off series titled "Power Book II: Ghost", which premiered on September 6, 2021.
"Power Book II: Ghost" follows the character of Tariq St. Patrick (played by Michael Rainey Jr.), the son of James "Ghost" St. Patrick, as he navigates his own path in the world of crime and power. The show explores Tariq's struggles to balance his loyalty to his family and his own ambitions, all while facing new threats and challenges.
Additionally, Starz has announced several other spin-off series, including:
- "Power Book III: Raising Kanan", which explores the early life of Kanan Stark (played by James "Jimmy" Smalls), a character from the original series.
- "Power Book IV: Force", which follows the character of Tommy Egan (played by Joseph Sikora), a fan favorite from the original series.
- "Power Book V: Influence", which is still in development and will reportedly focus on the character of Cooper Saxe (played by Shane Johnson).
These spin-off series will continue to expand the "Power" universe, offering new stories and characters for fans to enjoy.
