How to open a new tab
To open a new tab in a web browser, you can use one of the following methods:
Method 1: Keyboard Shortcut
- Windows: Press
Ctrl + T
(orCtrl + N
in some browsers) - Mac: Press
Command (⌘) + T
Method 2: Browser Menu
- Click on the three vertical dots or the hamburger menu icon (depending on the browser) in the top right corner of the browser window.
- Select "New Tab" or "Open New Tab" from the dropdown menu.
Method 3: Right-Click
- Right-click on an empty area of the browser window.
- Select "New Tab" from the context menu.
Method 4: Browser Button
- Some browsers, like Google Chrome, have a "New Tab" button located next to the address bar. Click on this button to open a new tab.
Once you open a new tab, you can navigate to a new website or continue working on a previous tab.
