How to create new user in cpanel
To create a new user in cPanel, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the "Users" tab
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click on the "Users" tab located in the "Account Information" section.
- Click on the "Add User" button.
- Fill in the required information for the new user:
- Username: Enter a unique username for the new user.
- Password: Enter a strong password for the new user.
- Email: Enter the email address for the new user.
- First Name and Last Name: Enter the first and last name for the new user (optional).
- Click on the "Create" button to create the new user.
Method 2: Using the "Account Manager"
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click on the "Account Manager" tab located in the "Account Information" section.
- Click on the "Create a New Account" button.
- Fill in the required information for the new user:
- Username: Enter a unique username for the new user.
- Password: Enter a strong password for the new user.
- Email: Enter the email address for the new user.
- First Name and Last Name: Enter the first and last name for the new user (optional).
- Click on the "Create" button to create the new user.
Additional settings
After creating the new user, you can configure additional settings for the user, such as:
- Assigning a specific package or plan to the user.
- Setting up email forwarding or autoresponders for the user.
- Configuring FTP or SSH access for the user.
- Setting up a custom theme or skin for the user's cPanel interface.
To access these additional settings, click on the "Edit" button next to the new user's name in the "Users" tab or "Account Manager" tab, and then click on the "Edit User" button.
