How to create a new whatsapp group

Method 1: Create a new group from the Chats screen

1. Open WhatsApp on your phone.
2. Tap the "Chats" tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap the "New Group" button (represented by a green plus sign) at the top right corner of the screen.
4. Enter a name for your group in the "Group Name" field.
5. Add participants to the group by searching for their names or phone numbers. You can add up to 256 people to a group.
6. Tap the "Create" button to create the group.

Method 2: Create a new group from a conversation

1. Open WhatsApp and go to a conversation with someone you want to add to the new group.
2. Tap the "More" menu (represented by three vertical dots) at the top right corner of the screen.
3. Tap "New Group" from the menu.
