The New Testament of the Bible contains 27 books, which are divided into four categories:

1. Gospels (4 books):

   • John
2. Acts of the Apostles (1 book):
   • Acts
3. Epistles (letters) of Paul (13 books):
   • Romans
   • 1 Corinthians
   • 2 Corinthians
   • Galatians
   • Ephesians
   • Philippians
   • Colossians
   • 1 Thessalonians
   • 2 Thessalonians
   • 1 Timothy
   • 2 Timothy
   • Titus
   • Philemon
4. General Epistles (7 books):
   • Hebrews
   • James
   • 1 Peter
   • 2 Peter
   • 1 John
   • 2 John
   • 3 John
   • Jude

Note that the New Testament books were written over a period of several decades, from around 50 AD to 150 AD, and were likely written in Greek.
