Hide most visited in new tab page
To hide the "Most Visited" section on the New Tab page in Google Chrome, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using Chrome Flags
- Type
chrome://flags
in the address bar and press Enter. - Search for "New Tab page" in the search bar.
- Find the "New Tab page" section and click on the dropdown menu next to "Show most visited pages".
- Select "Disabled" from the dropdown menu.
- Restart Chrome.
Method 2: Using Chrome Extensions
- Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "New Tab Manager".
- Install the extension.
- Click on the extension's icon in the top right corner of the browser.
- Click on "Settings" and then toggle off the switch next to "Show most visited pages".
Method 3: Using Chrome Settings
- Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser.
- Click on "Settings".
- Scroll down to the "On startup" section.
