A Prayer for the New Year 2024
Dear God,
As we welcome the dawn of a new year, we come before you with gratitude and hope. We thank you for the blessings of the past year and for the opportunities you have given us to grow and learn.
As we step into 2024, we ask that you guide us on our journey. Help us to set our sights on your will and to follow your path. May our hearts be filled with your love and our minds be focused on your purposes.
Grant us wisdom to make wise decisions, courage to face challenges, and strength to overcome obstacles. May our relationships be built on love, trust, and communication.
We pray for peace and prosperity in our homes, communities, and nations. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
As we look to the future, we ask that you help us to let go of the past and to focus on the present moment. May we be mindful of your presence with us always and may we seek your guidance in all that we do.
May 2024 be a year of growth, renewal, and transformation for us. May we be open to your leading and may we follow your voice.
We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
