Gubernatorial results in ogun state 2019 channels news

According to Channels Television, the results of the 2019 Ogun State gubernatorial election are as follows:

Winner: Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

Runner-up: Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM)

Results:

• Dapo Abiodun (APC): 241,670 votes
• Adekunle Akinlade (APM): 222,153 votes
• Adebutu Iyiola (PDP): 134,971 votes
• Other candidates: 14,444 votes

Total valid votes: 613,138

Rejected votes: 14,444

Total votes cast: 627,582

Turnout: 53.11%

Margin of victory: 19,517 votes

Dapo Abiodun, a businessman and former Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 10, 2019.
