Guardiola confident new aguero contract
According to recent reports, Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, is confident that Sergio Agüero will sign a new contract with the club.
Agüero, who has been with Manchester City since 2011, has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months, with his current contract set to expire in 2021. However, Guardiola has expressed his desire to keep the Argentine striker at the club and has been working to convince him to sign a new deal.
In a recent interview, Guardiola said: "I'm confident that Sergio will stay with us. He's an important player for us and I think he wants to stay. We're talking about it and I'm sure we'll find a solution that suits everyone."
Agüero has been a key player for Manchester City since his arrival at the club, scoring over 200 goals and helping the team win numerous titles, including four Premier League championships and two FA Cups. He has also been an important player for the Argentine national team, scoring over 30 goals in 90 appearances.
It's worth noting that Agüero has been dealing with injuries in recent seasons, which has limited his playing time and may have affected his decision-making regarding his future at the club. However, if Guardiola's comments are any indication, it seems that the manager is confident that Agüero will ultimately decide to stay with Manchester City.
