Gov ambode plans 24 hour electricity for lagos
I think there may be some misinformation here.
While Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has made efforts to improve the power supply in Lagos, there is no credible evidence to suggest that he has planned or implemented a 24-hour electricity supply for the entire state.
Lagos State, like many other parts of Nigeria, still faces significant challenges in terms of power supply and distribution. While the state government has made efforts to improve the power situation, including the construction of new power plants and the upgrade of existing infrastructure, the state still relies heavily on the national grid, which is often plagued by outages and shortages.
In fact, in 2019, the Lagos State Government announced plans to invest N45 billion in the power sector to improve electricity supply in the state. The plan included the construction of new power plants, the upgrade of existing infrastructure, and the installation of smart meters to improve metering and billing.
While these efforts are aimed at improving the power supply in Lagos, it's important to note that a 24-hour electricity supply is a complex and ambitious goal that would require significant investment and infrastructure development. It's unlikely that the state government could achieve this goal without significant support from the federal government and other stakeholders.
It's always important to verify information through credible sources before sharing it to avoid spreading misinformation.
