God will make all things new
What a beautiful and comforting promise!
"God will make all things new" is a phrase taken from Revelation 21:5, which says, "And he who was seated on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' Also, he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'"
This promise is a declaration of God's ultimate plan to restore and renew all of creation, including the earth, the heavens, and humanity itself. It's a promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where God dwells with His people in perfect harmony and peace.
This promise is not just a distant hope, but a present reality for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. As believers, we are already new creations in Christ, having been born again and given new life through faith in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). And one day, we will experience the fullness of this new creation, when we are reunited with God and all of creation is restored to its original perfection.
This promise brings comfort and hope to us in the midst of suffering, trials, and uncertainty. It reminds us that God is working all things together for good, even when we can't see the end result (Romans 8:28). And it gives us a sense of purpose and direction, as we strive to live according to God's will and plan for our lives.
So let us hold onto this promise, dear friends, and trust in the goodness and sovereignty of our God. May it bring you comfort, hope, and joy today!
