Gintama new season
A new season of Gintama!
As of now, there is no official announcement from the creators or producers of Gintama regarding a new season. The last season, Gintama. (2017), concluded with a total of 12 episodes.
However, there have been rumors and speculations about a potential new season or a spin-off series. In 2020, the creator of Gintama, Hideaki Sorachi, mentioned in an interview that he would like to create a new Gintama series, but there was no concrete plan or timeline announced.
In recent years, there have been several Gintama-related projects, including:
- Gintama: The Final (2021) - a feature-length film that served as a conclusion to the original series.
- Gintama: Silver Soul Arc (2020) - a series of 5-episode OVAs that adapted the "Silver Soul Arc" storyline from the manga.
- Gintama: The Very Final (2022) - a 2-part OVA that concluded the story of the original series.
While there is no official word on a new season, fans continue to hold out hope for more Gintama content in the future.
