Ghanaian acts missing in 2018 bet awards nominations
The 2018 BET Awards nominations were announced on May 15, 2018, and unfortunately, no Ghanaian acts were recognized in the nominations. However, it's worth noting that the BET Awards primarily focus on recognizing African American artists and their contributions to the music industry.
That being said, Ghanaian artists have been recognized in previous years. For example, in 2017, Sarkodie was nominated for Best International Flow at the BET Awards, and in 2016, Stonebwoy was nominated for Best International Flow as well.
It's also important to note that the BET Awards are not the only platform that recognizes African artists. Other awards and festivals, such as the MTV Africa Music Awards, the African Music Magazine Awards, and the Ghana Music Awards, also recognize and celebrate African artists and their contributions to the music industry.
