Here is Genesis 30 in the Good News Bible (GNB):

Genesis 30

Jacob's Wives and Children

-2. When Rachel saw that she was not having any children, she became jealous of her sister Leah. The other woman had already borne Jacob two sons. But Rachel said to Jacob, "Give me children, or I will die!"

-5. Jacob became angry with Rachel and said, "Am I God, who has kept you from having children?"

-8. Then Rachel said, "Here is my servant Bilhah. Sleep with her, and she will bear children for me." So Jacob slept with Bilhah, and she became pregnant and bore him a son. Rachel named him Dan, saying, "God has vindicated me."

-12. Bilhah became pregnant again and bore Jacob a second son. Rachel named him Naphtali, saying, "I have had a great struggle with my sister, and I have won."

-14. Leah, who was watching, saw that she had stopped having children. So she took her servant Zilpah and gave her to Jacob as a wife. Zilpah bore Jacob a son, and Leah named him Gad.

-18. Zilpah bore Jacob a second son, and Leah named him Asher.

-20. Leah also bore Jacob a daughter, and named her Dinah.

-24. Then God remembered Rachel and answered her prayer. She became pregnant and bore Jacob a son. Rachel named him Joseph, saying, "May the Lord add to me another son."

-26. After Joseph was born, Rachel realized that she was not going to have any more children. So she named him Joseph, saying, "May the Lord add to me another son."

-28. Jacob came to his father Isaac at Mamre, the place where Abraham had lived, and Isaac was very old. Isaac's eyes had grown dim with age, and he could hardly see.

-30. Jacob said to his father, "I am your son Esau. I have done just as you told me. Please give me your blessing."

-33. Isaac replied, "Who are you?" Jacob said, "I am your son, your firstborn Esau." Isaac said, "Then why have you done this to me, pretending to be Esau? Don't you know that only by my blessing can you inherit my inheritance?"

-36. Jacob said, "But Esau is the one who has the hairy arms. I am smooth-skinned. If my father touches me, he will know that I am not Esau." So Isaac said, "Come closer, so I can touch you, my son, and see if you really are Esau."

-40. Jacob went closer to his father, and Isaac touched him. "The voice is the voice of Jacob," he said, "but the hands are the hands of Esau." Isaac did not recognize Jacob's voice, but he recognized the hands. Jacob came closer again and kissed his father. Then Isaac smelled his clothes and blessed him, saying, "The smell of my son is like the smell of the fields that the Lord has blessed."

-43. Isaac said, "You will be blessed, and you will be the master of the people. You will be the father of kings, and the Lord will give you all the blessings he promised to Abraham. You will possess the land where you are now living, and you will be the master of Edom."

-46. Jacob left his father Isaac and went to Paddan Aram, to his uncle Laban. Jacob told Laban about his dream, and Laban said, "The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Nahor worshiped is the God who has been with you. I know that he is the living God and that he is the God who has been with you."

-50. Laban said to Jacob, "You are my own flesh and blood. You are my own bone and blood." Then Jacob agreed to work for Laban for seven years for Rachel, his cousin.
