FRSC Warns Drivers Against Using Earpieces While Driving

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has warned drivers against using earpieces while driving, saying it is a major distraction that can lead to accidents.

The Corps Marshal, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, made the warning in a statement issued in Abuja, the nation's capital, on Tuesday.

According to Oyeyemi, the use of earpieces while driving is a serious violation of traffic rules and can lead to loss of control of the vehicle, which can result in accidents and fatalities.

He said that the FRSC has noticed a growing trend of drivers using earpieces while driving, which is a major distraction that can lead to accidents.

"We want to warn drivers to desist from using earpieces while driving. It is a serious violation of traffic rules and can lead to accidents and fatalities," Oyeyemi said.

He added that the FRSC will not hesitate to arrest and prosecute any driver found using an earpiece while driving.

The FRSC is urging drivers to prioritize road safety and avoid distractions while driving.
