Finally president buhari sign new minimum wage

I think there may be some confusion here!

President Muhammadu Buhari has indeed signed a new minimum wage bill into law, but it's not a "new" minimum wage in the sense that it's a completely new amount. Rather, it's an increase in the minimum wage from N18,000 (approximately $49) to N30,000 (approximately $82) per month.

The new minimum wage was signed into law on April 18, 2019, after a long period of negotiations between the government and labor unions. The increase is expected to benefit millions of Nigerian workers, including federal civil servants, who will receive the new minimum wage from April 2020.

So, while it's not a "new" minimum wage in the classical sense, it's still a significant increase that will have a positive impact on the lives of many Nigerians.
