Fifa 08 new squads
FIFA 08 was released in 2007, and it featured squads from the 2006-07 season. Here are some of the new squads that were added to the game:

New Leagues:
- Russian Premier League (added as a playable league)
- Turkish Super League (added as a playable league)
- Greek Super League (added as a playable league)
- Portuguese Primeira Liga (added as a playable league)
- Dutch Eredivisie (added as a playable league)
New Players:
- Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - upgraded to 93 overall rating
- Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - upgraded to 92 overall rating
- Kaka (AC Milan) - upgraded to 91 overall rating
- Ronaldinho (Barcelona) - upgraded to 90 overall rating
- Didier Drogba (Chelsea) - upgraded to 89 overall rating
Other Changes:
- Improved player likenesses for many players, including goalkeepers and defenders.
- New animations for player movements, such as improved dribbling and shooting.
- Enhanced commentary system, with more realistic and varied commentary.
- Improved match engine, with more realistic team and player performances.
