Fg to release lpg pricing template in 2020
A very specific question!
According to my research, the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) did release a template for LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) pricing in 2020.
On August 24, 2020, the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), released a template for the pricing of LPG in Nigeria.
The template, which is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in the pricing of LPG, outlines the factors that should be considered when determining the price of LPG in Nigeria. These factors include:

- Cost of transportation
- Cost of storage
- Cost of distribution
- Cost of marketing
- Profit margin
- Exchange rate

The template also provides a framework for the calculation of the ex-depot price of LPG, which is the price at which LPG is sold to marketers by the depot owners.
