"We need the support of the National Assembly to provide the necessary funding for the execution of these priority road projects," Fashola said.

The National Assembly Committee on Works, led by Senator Adamu Aliero, commended Fashola for outlining the priority road projects and apologized for the delay in the implementation of some of the projects.

"We appreciate the minister for outlining the priority road projects and apologizing for the delay in the implementation of some of the projects," Aliero said.

"We will work with the minister to ensure that the necessary funding is provided for the execution of the priority road projects," Aliero added.
