Fallout new vegas set quest stage command
A power user!
In Fallout: New Vegas, you can use the setqueststage
console command to set the stage of a specific quest. Here's the syntax:
setqueststage [quest ID] [stage number]
Where:
[quest ID]
is the unique ID of the quest you want to modify. You can find this ID in the game's console by typingquest
and pressing Enter, then selecting the quest you're interested in.[stage number]
is the stage number you want to set the quest to. Stages are numbered from 0 to 10, with 0 being the initial stage and 10 being the final stage.
For example, to set the stage of the "That Lucky Old Sun" quest to stage 5, you would use the following command:
setqueststage 0001395f 5
Note that you need to have the quest active in your journal for this command to work. Also, be careful when using this command, as setting a quest stage to a number that's not intended by the game's developers can cause bugs or prevent you from progressing through the game normally.
To find the quest ID, you can use the quest
command in the console and select the quest you're interested in. The ID will be displayed in the console output.
