Fake university of ibadan professor arrested over n1million scam

According to reports, a fake professor from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, has been arrested by the police for allegedly scamming people out of N1 million (approximately $2,500 USD).
The suspect, who claimed to be a professor of English Language, allegedly posed as a renowned academic and used his fake credentials to dupe unsuspecting victims. He promised them lucrative job opportunities and even offered to help them secure scholarships.
However, his scheme was uncovered when one of his victims reported the matter to the police. The authorities launched an investigation and arrested the suspect, who is currently being held at the Ibadan Police Command.
The University of Ibadan has also issued a statement denying any connection to the suspect, emphasizing that the institution does not recognize him as a professor.
