Facebook restore hidden news feed
The nostalgia! Facebook's "Most Recent" or "Top Stories" feed was indeed a popular way to see all the updates from your friends and pages you followed. Unfortunately, Facebook changed its algorithm to prioritize posts from friends and family over pages and public figures, which led to the "hidden" news feed.
However, you can still restore a similar experience by using Facebook's built-in features or third-party apps. Here are a few options:
Facebook's built-in features:
- Most Recent: Go to your Facebook homepage and click on the "Most Recent" button at the top of the page. This will show you the most recent posts from your friends and pages you follow.
- See First: Go to the Facebook app, tap the three horizontal lines (menu) on the top right corner, and select "Settings." Scroll down to "Account Settings" and click on "Notifications." Under "See First," select "All Posts" to see all posts from your friends and pages you follow.
- Prioritize Who to See First: Go to the Facebook app, tap the three horizontal lines (menu) on the top right corner, and select "Settings." Scroll down to "Account Settings" and click on "Notifications." Under "See First," select "Prioritize Who to See First" and choose the friends and pages you want to see first.
Third-party apps:
- Facebook News Feed: This app allows you to customize your Facebook news feed and see all posts from your friends and pages you follow.
- News Feed Frenzy: This app helps you see all posts from your friends and pages you follow, including those that might not be visible in your regular news feed.
- Facebook Feed: This app provides a simple, distraction-free feed that shows all posts from your friends and pages you follow.
Note: Keep in mind that using third-party apps may require you to grant additional permissions to access your Facebook account. Always review the permissions and terms of service before installing any app.
I hope this helps you restore a similar experience to the old Facebook news feed!
