Ex gov ex minister join calls for oshiomhole to resign

It appears that there are growing calls for the resignation of Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), from some former governors and ministers.

According to reports, some of these former officials have joined the chorus of voices calling for Oshiomhole's resignation, citing his alleged role in the party's internal crisis and the recent crisis in Edo State.

Some of the notable figures who have joined the calls for Oshiomhole's resignation include:

  1. Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose: Fayose has been a vocal critic of Oshiomhole, accusing him of being responsible for the APC's internal crisis and the party's poor performance in recent elections.
  2. Former Minister of State for Education, Olorunnimbe Mamora: Mamora has called for Oshiomhole's resignation, citing his alleged role in the party's internal crisis and the recent crisis in Edo State.
  3. Former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel: Daniel has also joined the calls for Oshiomhole's resignation, citing his alleged role in the party's internal crisis and the recent crisis in Edo State.

These calls for Oshiomhole's resignation come amid growing tensions within the APC, particularly in Edo State, where the party is facing a crisis following the suspension of the state chairman, Anselm Ojezua, and other party officials.

It remains to be seen whether Oshiomhole will heed the calls for his resignation or continue to lead the APC.
