Enter new line in numbers cell

In Google Sheets, you can enter a new line in a cell by using the following methods:

  1. Press Shift + Enter: This will insert a new line within the cell.
  2. Use the "Line break" formula: You can use the formula CHAR(10) or CHAR(13) to insert a new line. For example, if you want to insert a new line in cell A1, you can enter the formula =CHAR(10) and press Enter.
  3. Use the "Wrap text" feature: You can also use the "Wrap text" feature to wrap the text to a new line. To do this, select the cell, go to the "Format" tab, and click on "Wrap text". Then, select "Wrap" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Use the "New line" button: If you are using a keyboard with a numeric keypad, you can use the "New line" button (usually located on the numeric keypad) to insert a new line.

Note that when you enter a new line in a cell, the cell will automatically resize to accommodate the new line.
