Election fani kayode urges atiku to form parallel government if not declared winner
Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to form a parallel government if he is not declared the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Fani-Kayode made the call in a statement on Sunday, saying that the PDP candidate has the right to challenge the outcome of the election and to form a government that is recognized by the international community.
He argued that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has a history of rigging elections and that the PDP candidate has the right to demand a recount or a re-run if he is not declared the winner.
Fani-Kayode also urged the international community to intervene in the situation and to ensure that the will of the people is respected.
