Ekiti guber governor fayose mocks dayo adeyeye for defecting to apc
It seems like there's some political drama unfolding in Ekiti State!
According to reports, former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has taken to social media to mock his former ally, Dayo Adeyeye, for defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fayose, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), took to Twitter to express his disappointment and amusement at Adeyeye's decision to join the APC. He tweeted:
"Dayo Adeyeye, the man who was once my brother, has finally joined the APC. I'm not surprised. He was always a 'bird that flies with the wind'. I wish him well, but I know he will soon realize that APC is not a haven for the faint-hearted. #EkitiPDP #APC"
Fayose's tweet suggests that he believes Adeyeye's decision to defect to the APC is a sign of weakness and a lack of conviction. He also seems to be implying that Adeyeye will soon regret his decision.
It's worth noting that Adeyeye was a former member of the PDP and served as the Chairman of the PDP in Ekiti State. However, he defected to the APC earlier this year, citing disagreements with the PDP leadership.
The drama between Fayose and Adeyeye is just the latest development in the ongoing political realignment in Ekiti State. With the 2023 governorship election just around the corner, it will be interesting to see how this drama plays out!
