Edo state house of assembly new speaker

As of my knowledge cutoff, the new Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly is Rt. Hon. Victor Edoror. He was elected as the Speaker of the House on June 17, 2021, following the inauguration of the 7th Assembly of the Edo State House of Assembly.

Prior to his election as Speaker, Edoror was a member of the House of Assembly representing the Oredo West constituency. He has been a member of the House since 2019 and has served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Education.

As Speaker, Edoror is responsible for presiding over the proceedings of the House, ensuring the smooth operation of the legislative process, and representing the House in official capacities.
