EDO APC LEADERS KICK AGAINST OSHIOMHOLE FOR ALLEGEDLY INSTIGATING VIOLENCE

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State have condemned the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, for allegedly instigating violence in the state.

The leaders, who are loyal to the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, accused Oshiomhole of using his office to promote violence and division in the state.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the leaders said Oshiomhole's actions were aimed at disrupting the peace and stability of the state, and undermining the authority of the Governor.

The statement, signed by the Chairman of the APC in Edo State, Anslem Ojezua, and the Secretary, Hilary Otsu, said: "We condemn in strong terms the alleged role of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in instigating violence in Edo State. His actions are unacceptable and a threat to the peace and stability of our state."

The leaders also accused Oshiomhole of using his office to promote division and conflict in the party, and of working against the interests of the people of Edo State.

"We urge Comrade Oshiomhole to stop his divisive and violent activities in Edo State. His actions are not only unconstitutional but also ungodly and unacceptable," the statement said.

The leaders also called on the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC to take immediate action to address the crisis in the state and to ensure that the party's constitution is respected.

"We urge the NWC to take immediate action to address the crisis in Edo State and to ensure that the party's constitution is respected. We also urge the party's leadership to take steps to prevent further violence and division in the state," the statement said.

The crisis in the APC in Edo State has been ongoing for several months, with both camps accusing each other of violence and intimidation. The situation has led to the suspension of several party members, including the Deputy Governor of the state, Philip Shaibu.

The leaders of the APC in Edo State have also called on the security agencies to take immediate action to prevent further violence and to ensure that the peace and stability of the state are maintained.

"We urge the security agencies to take immediate action to prevent further violence and to ensure that the peace and stability of our state are maintained. We also urge the people of Edo State to remain calm and peaceful, and to avoid any action that could lead to further violence and division," the statement said.
