Edo 2020 two south west governors back obaseki on plots to remove oshionhole

I think there may be some misinformation or confusion here.

To clarify, there is no credible evidence to suggest that two South West governors have backed Obaseki on plots to remove Oshiomhole. In fact, the situation is quite the opposite.

In 2020, the crisis between Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, came to a head. Obaseki was seeking a second term as governor, but Oshiomhole, who was a close ally of Obaseki's predecessor, was opposed to his re-election.

The crisis escalated to the point where Oshiomhole was accused of plotting to remove Obaseki as the APC candidate, and even to impeach him as governor. However, the plot was ultimately foiled, and Obaseki went on to win the governorship election in September 2020.

It's worth noting that the South West governors, who are members of the APC, have generally been supportive of Oshiomhole and have not publicly backed Obaseki in his feud with the APC chairman. In fact, some of the South West governors have been critical of Obaseki's actions and have sided with Oshiomhole in the crisis.

I hope this clears up any confusion. Let me know if you have any further questions!
