Ecotect new version
Ecotect!
Ecotect is a popular urban design and sustainability analysis tool developed by Autodesk. It helps architects, urban planners, and designers evaluate the environmental performance of buildings and cities, and make data-driven decisions to create more sustainable and resilient environments.
The latest version of Ecotect is Ecotect 2013, which was released in 2012. Since then, Autodesk has discontinued the development of Ecotect as a standalone product. However, many of its features and capabilities have been integrated into other Autodesk products, such as:
- Autodesk Revit: Ecotect's building performance analysis and energy analysis capabilities are now part of Revit, a popular building information modeling (BIM) software.
- Autodesk Green Building Studio: This cloud-based platform offers advanced building performance analysis and energy modeling capabilities, including energy efficiency analysis, daylighting analysis, and thermal comfort analysis.
- Autodesk Insight: This cloud-based platform provides advanced building performance analysis and energy modeling capabilities, including energy efficiency analysis, daylighting analysis, and thermal comfort analysis.
While Ecotect is no longer available as a standalone product, its legacy lives on through the integration of its features and capabilities into other Autodesk products.
