Ebola virus 2

I think there may be some confusion here!

There is no such thing as Ebola Virus 2. Ebola is a single virus, known as Ebola virus (EBOV), which is a member of the Filoviridae family. It is a highly infectious and deadly virus that causes a severe and often fatal hemorrhagic fever in humans and nonhuman primates.

The Ebola virus was first identified in 1976 in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) and has since caused several outbreaks in Africa, with the most recent and largest outbreak occurring in West Africa from 2013 to 2016.

There have been no reported cases of a second strain of Ebola virus, and the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other global health authorities have not identified any evidence of a distinct Ebola virus 2.

It's possible that you may be thinking of another virus or disease that is similar to Ebola, or that you may have come across misinformation or a misunderstanding. If you could provide more context or clarify what you are referring to, I'd be happy to try and help you further!
