Dubai to build new record breaking skyscraper
Dubai is known for its ambitious architectural projects, and it seems that the city is planning to break its own record again! According to recent reports, Dubai is set to build a new record-breaking skyscraper that will surpass the height of the Burj Khalifa, currently the tallest building in the world.
The new skyscraper, named the "Dubai Creek Tower", is expected to stand at an astonishing 928 meters (3,045 feet) tall, surpassing the Burj Khalifa's height of 828 meters (2,722 feet). The Dubai Creek Tower is being designed by the Spanish architectural firm, Santiago Calatrava, and is expected to be completed by 2025.
The tower will be a mixed-use development, featuring residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, as well as a observation deck and a luxury hotel. The design of the tower is inspired by the Hymenocallis, a desert flower native to the UAE, and will feature a unique, curved shape that will be visible from miles away.
The Dubai Creek Tower is part of a larger development project, which will also include a new waterfront area, a marina, and a public park. The project is expected to cost around $1 billion and will be funded by the Dubai government.
This new skyscraper will not only be a record-breaker but also a symbol of Dubai's continued commitment to innovation, architecture, and urban development. It's exciting to think about what this new tower will bring to the city and its residents!
