Dua before wearing new clothes

A beautiful habit!

In Islam, it's a common practice to recite a dua (prayer) before wearing new clothes, especially on special occasions or when wearing something new for the first time. Here's a common dua:

Translation: "O Allah, You are the One who pardons greatly and loves to pardon, so pardon me."

This dua is a request for Allah's forgiveness and mercy, asking Him to pardon any sins or mistakes we may have committed. It's a beautiful way to start the day or a new occasion, seeking Allah's blessings and guidance.

Here's another dua that's often recited before wearing new clothes:

Translation: "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and all praise is due to Him, and all blessings are from Him, and all good is from Him."

This dua is a beautiful expression of gratitude and praise to Allah, acknowledging His blessings and mercy in our lives.

Remember, the most important thing is to have a sincere intention and a pure heart when reciting these du'as. May Allah accept our prayers and guide us on the right path!
