Dua after hearing death news

Here are some common Duas that can be recited after hearing news of someone's death:

  1. "Allahumma arhamhu warhamhu wa ajirhu min al-jahim" (O Allah, have mercy on him, be kind to him, and save him from the Hellfire).
  2. "Allahumma ghafrur-rahīm" (O Allah, the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful).
  3. "Allahumma inna laka al-hamdu wa laka al-shukr, wa laka al-mulku, wa laka al-hamdu, wa laka al-shukr, wa laka al-mulku, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (O Allah, all praise and gratitude are for You, all power and might are Yours, and there is no might or power except with You).
