Dua after buying something new
Here are some common Duas that Muslims recite after buying something new:
- Dua of Gratitude: "Alhamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin, was-salatu was-salamu 'ala rasulillah, wa barik wa shukra jami'an" (Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and all thanks and praise are due to Him).
- Dua of Blessings: "Allahumma j'alha khairan wa j'alha 'amalan sawi'an" (O Allah, make it good and make it a righteous deed).
- Dua of Protection: "Allahumma 'inna 'ahdina 'alayka wa 'alayk al-mustafadna, wa 'inna 'ahdina 'alayka wa 'alayk al-mustafadna, wa 'inna 'ahdina 'alayka wa 'alayk al-mustafadna" (O Allah, we entrust it to You and seek Your protection, and we entrust it to You and seek Your protection, and we entrust it to You and seek Your protection).
- Dua of Guidance: "Allahumma 'inna 'ahdina 'alayka wa 'alayk al-huda, wa 'inna 'ahdina 'alayka wa 'alayk al-huda, wa 'inna 'ahdina 'alayka wa 'alayk al-huda" (O Allah, we entrust it to You and seek Your guidance, and we entrust it to You and seek Your guidance, and we entrust it to You and seek Your guidance).
- Dua of Forgiveness: "Allahumma 'ghfir li wa 'alayya wa 'ala 'ibadika, wa 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadika, wa 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadika" (O Allah, forgive me and my family and Your servants, and forgive us and Your servants, and forgive us and Your servants).
Remember to recite these Duas with sincerity and humility, and to make sure you are not forgetting to thank Allah for His blessings.
